Crisp Wireless is looking for a developer with strong experience in analytics to be become a core member of our dedicated, agile team.
We need an engineer who embraces a mixed platform and has a problem-solving mindset. You will help build new industry-leading systems that respond in milliseconds to millions of requests. You must go beyond RDBMS to work with document-oriented databases, large key-value stores, and column-based structures and can program to their technical strengths.
The ideal candidate shines in team-based process of continual code delivery. You will focus on improving, maintaining, and extending our enterprise SOA that provides advertisers and publishers the technical underpinning to deliver, track, and report on mobile rich media advertising.
Responsibilities:
• Design, document and code to the highest quality of re-usability and performance.
• Communicate effectively in a test-driven, iterative development team.
• Prove quality, reliability, and scalability in a mixed environment using custom tools, frameworks, and processes.
• Regularly demonstrate working code and POCs to company stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional programming experience, working with high-volume web sites
• Excellent organizational, presentation and analytical skills are a must
• Expert in standard web technologies: xHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, JS, jQuery
• PHP 5 OO coding guru for high traffic sites
• Experience with web and application server tuning
• Demonstrable skills in multiple storage technologies
• Disciplined use of unit tests and testing frameworks
• Java familiarity preferred: JSP, Spring, Hibernate
